Project Synopsis.
smiScan Web is a product offered by SMILOG, an international solution provider and integrator of mobile applications for logistics, headquartered in Germany. smiScan Web is a web application that allows mobile workers to use smartphones and tablets to connect with SMILOG’s smiScan™ software for SAP® ERP systems.
The SmiScan Web platform was developed for this client so they could provide customers with a complementary offering to industrial terminals for their warehousing, distribution or similar systems. Architected to work both in the cloud using Microsoft Windows Azure™ or on-premise, smiScan Web securely extends SAP functionality to consumer-grade mobile devices, using advanced HTML5/CSS3 web browser technologies.
